About Body Art industry
Body art includes both Tattoo and Permanent Makeup (PMU). Both use tattooing techniques to implant ink or pigment into the skin. Tattoos are permanent, while PMU pigments stay semi-permanently.
Some people get confused, but yes — in Nevada (Las Vegas) and in some other states, both Tattoo and PMU are covered under the same Body Art License. The techniques are very similar, and once you understand them, you can easily cross over between Tattoo and PMU.
