Custom Tattoo
Anime-inspired tattoos in Vegas! We specialize in black and grey wash, detailed artistic realism, fine tattoos, and Chinese-style tattoos — always at the lowest possible prices. Contact us for your custom tattoo! We also provide a clear, transparent price list so you always know what to expect.

Our detailed tattoos start at $50 per hour (prices are based on black and grey wash tattoos on easier body positions). The first 15-minute consultation is always free.
For example, a detailed tattoo around 10 square inches (e.g., 5" x 2") usually takes about 4 hours. Line art or simpler designs can be completed much faster.
Send us your tattoo idea, size, and placement, and we’ll provide you with an estimate. Color tattoos cost extra — usually $10 per additional color. For larger projects or multi-color tattoos, we can offer an all-inclusive deal.
Design fees are not included, unless you book:
-
4 hours (Half Day) → Includes 1 extra hour of design time.
-
8 hours (Full Day) → Includes 2 extra hours of design time.
-
Basically, each hour includes up to 15 minutes of design services. This covers design work, revisions, back-and-forth art approval, and communication time.
Please avoid asking us to match advanced techniques or artists charging $500+ per hour (for example, advanced Japanese traditional work). These are highly specialized and priced accordingly. It’s not realistic to compare or expect the same rate from us. If we receive such requests, we’re sorry to say we cannot provide a quote.
The minimum charge for a custom tattoo is $50. This includes bringing in your own artwork, name tattoos, and changing or combining designs.
If you just want a simple custom design for two people, and the entire procedure can be done within one hour, we may still consider it as just one $50 charge. However, please understand that extra materials are required. We cannot re-use needles between two different people, regardless of the relationship, and we must also sterilize the station in between. In this case, giving the artist an extra tip is recommended. (We call this the ‘tip of art’—some little things are hard to charge for directly, so tipping helps smooth out the situation and keeps everyone happy.)
As an artist, it’s very difficult to give an exact time estimate. Here’s ChatGPT’s result for a detailed tattoo around 1 inch × 1 inch — the time depends on:
-
Complexity (fine lines, tiny shading, color packing, etc.)
-
Style (line art vs. realism vs. dotwork)
-
Artist speed and setup efficiency
-
Skin type (some skin takes ink easier, others need more passes)
In general:
-
Simple linework → Around 15 Minutes Per Square Inches
-
Detailed black & grey shading → Around 30 Minutes Per Square Inches
-
High-detail realism / multiple colors → Around 60 Minutes Per Square Inches
More Difficult Tattoo Positions
Examples include the spine, lower back (“tramp stamp”), joints, bones, hands, fingers, neck, and face. Tattoos in these areas usually cost more and require an in-person consultation. The pain level is also higher.
It’s important to know that tattoos in visible areas (such as the face, hands, and fingers) cannot be covered easily by clothing. Some workplaces do not allow tattoos in these positions. Please do your research carefully before making a decision.
Every tattoo shop offers different prices, but our pricing is more transparent. We don’t play pricing games. Please don’t try to rush our artists just to lower the cost. Instead, we provide a clear price range quote. For example, this tattoo’s size and placement will take around 4 to 5 hours, so the price range is $200 to $250.
Now about me — Jimmy T.
I already offer some of the lowest tattoo prices in the world, working my ass off while still delivering quality. Yet there are still people trying to take advantage. Please, please do your own research!
Here’s my background:
-
Graduated from the Art Institute of Houston (school is now closed) — when a teacher assigned 1 project, I turned in 3, and always scored the top grades in art.
-
Worked as the founder and later as the assistant to the CEO after the buyout at GR Print in Los Angeles, doing 17+ hours a day.
-
Left after being pissed off by previous business partners.
-
Now running MicroLV (formerly Scalp Secret), serving clients for 6+ years with the same focus: Quality, Quality, and Quality at affordable prices.
I’m not a great salesman or businessman — but the people who appreciate me, stay. If you’re confused about my work or prices, please leave me.
Artists need time and focus to create quality art.
Please, no drama. I’m just asking for a little money to keep my shop running.
Many people ask why MicroLV is so affordable—does cheap mean low quality? Let me ask you a question: are we in a recession right now? No one likes to face it, but yes, we are! You see fewer people in restaurants and shopping malls, but we stay strong. We keep moving forward, providing affordable art and entertainment to get through these difficult times together. I’m Jimmy T, a father of two, and this is how I set a good example for my kids: no worries, just keep moving forward and get it done!”
